Cycling tour comes through town Monday

Roads to close during Monday’s cycling race

Bonny Doon and part of Boulder Creek will be affected by rolling road closures on Monday, May 14 as 128 professional cyclists pedal through the area as part of the AMGEN Tour of California.

Services will be May 27 for longtime Ben Lomond resident Dick Beardsley, who died at his home April 29 after battling diabetes and leukemia for more than 10 years. He was 73.

After a unanimous vote of approval by the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees at a special meeting Wednesday, May 9, Felton resident Karen van Putten was officially welcomed as the new principal of San Lorenzo Valley High School.
