A rundown Felton house under scrutiny from neighbors and law enforcement was declared uninhabitable this week, and its remaining residents were ordered to move out within 36 hours.

Cabrillo College and the City of Scotts Valley are near a deal that would move Cabrillo’s Scotts Valley campus from Whispering Pines Drive to a new home connected to the new Scotts Valley Library.

A recently painted mural of Cookie, a rescued horse, adorns the wall of one of the first stables at the Covered Bridge Equestrian Center in Felton.
