SLV alumna named to dean’s list

The Santa Cruz County Library Joint Powers Authority will likely make a decision about the future of the Santa Cruz County Library System during its meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, at the Louden Nelson Community Center, 301 Cedar St., in Santa Cruz.

Woman arrested for smuggling contraband into camp

On Jan. 25, deputies of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man awaiting trial for multiple counts of alleged child molestation when detectives were told he allegedly molested a second child in 2007.

Financial adviser honored by magazine

A massage practitioner was arrested on suspicion of prostitution Jan. 27 at the Shiatsu Spa in Scotts Valley following an undercover investigation by the Scotts Valley Police Department.
