Community Day around the corner
Scotts Valley’s first Community Day is planned for Sept. 18. On that day, many local merchants have pledged a percentage of their sales to the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation to help pay for educational programs at the city’s public schools. Local residents, likewise, have volunteered to host yard sales and bake sales and set aside a percentage for the foundation.
