We asked Lt. John Hohmann, veteran Scotts Valley motorcycle officer, to take a half-hour spin on the Zero S electric motorcycle. Wearing his leather jacket and shades, Hohmann rode the bike on the highway, on some curves and idled through mild traffic in Scotts Valley.
