Nicholas Ewing Barr February 9, 1946 – January 18, 2016

 Long-time Felton resident Nicholas Ewing Barr passed away on January 18, 2016 from natural causes. He was 69 years old.
Nick was born to Patricia Laughlin Barr and Robert Harold Barr February 9, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from University of Southern California in 1969 and a brief stint in the Air Force, he worked with his brother Dennis in a variety of businesses.
Nick retired in the late 1990’s and moved to Felton, where he became a close companion to Connie Barr, sharing her enthusiasm for marine mammal protection programs, and local activities such as the Highland Games.
