Ann Christensen
July 18, 1922 to December 15, 2014
Ann Christensen, 92 years old, passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2014, following a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure.
She was born in Kansas, one of seven children, and grew up with family in both Kansas and Oklahoma.
After marrying Ralph Christensen, she moved to California and settled in Felton in 1957. She dedicated 30 years serving Felton as a nurse and, after her retirement, continued to care for members of the community for an additional 25 years.
Four years ago, she moved to Sacramento to be cared for by her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mike and Kay Christensen, her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Amy and Rich Wolfe, and her great-granddaughter, Eleanor Wolfe.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Felton Presbyterian Church, 6090 Highway 9 in Felton.
