Friends and family will gather in Ben Lomond to celebrate the life of Bryan Olsen, who passed away peacefully at his home following a lengthy battle with cancer. Bryan had recently celebrated his 50th birthday this past month.
Born in Fremont, he moved to the San Lorenzo Valley with his family and has lived here for the past 46 years.
Bryan graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School and began a career in the automotive industry that spanned over 30 years.
He worked for many years with Quality Automotive in Santa Cruz and, at the time of his passing, was a service writer for Ernie’s Service Center in Felton.
Bryan’s life in this world encompassed and accomplished many things in such a short time. An avid and talented mechanic, Bryan could repair, rebuild, and pilot most anything on wheels.
He will forever be remembered as a thoughtful, sweet, engaging husband and friend, and consummate life of the party. Bryan was completely skilled in the construction trade, and perfected his Ben Lomond home for his family and friends who will cherish the many memorable occasions there.
