Michael Lloyd Kimpton

A memorial service will be held November 2 for Ben Lomond resident Michael Kimpton who died unexpectedly at his home in Ben Lomond last month. He was 50.
Family said he touched many lives with his sense of humor and positive outlook on life.
Born in Ontario, Canada, Mr. Kimpton hitchhiked across the country to Santa Cruz at the age of 18. As a local business owner, he started his career importing jewelry. He later turned his treasured hobby of buying and selling antiques into a successful career. Volunteering in his community also brought him great joy. His life was filled with love and dedication to his family, faith, and friends.
Mr. Kimpton is survived by his daughter, Reyena Kimpton; son-in-law Seth Landig and two grandchildren, all of Santa Cruz. He is also survived by his sisters Susan Beauregard and Valerie Kimpton of Quebec, Canada, and Janet Kimpton of Ontario, Canada; three aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 101 Riverside Avenue in Ben Lomond. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
