Noah Rhoads
Friends and family gathered on Sept. 26, 2014, to bid farewell to Noah Rhoads, who loved too deeply and felt too strongly for this world.
Born in Santa Cruz, he was 22 years old. Noah graduated from Scotts Valley High School, and was an accomplished musician.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from UCSC.
Noah had a talent for art and a scholarly passion.
He will be remembered fondly by his loved ones for his peaceful nature, creative endeavors, and intellectual pursuits.
A member of Temple Beth El in Aptos where he made his bar mitzvah, Noah participated in the youth groups there and volunteered as a counselor for Camp Kayetz.
Noah had passion for the outdoors and loved hiking in the redwoods, biking around town, and taking trips to Strawberry and Pinecrest. He loved animals, especially his cats, Tuna and Mandee.
Noah is survived by his mother, Debby De Castro of Felton, and her former husband, Karl Rhoads — also of Felton.
He also leaves his brother, Zephaniah Rhoads of Felton; his maternal grandparents, Ron and Linda Israel of Santa Cruz; his maternal great-grandparents, Al and Frances Michaelson of Scotts Valley; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who thought the world of him.
A Memorial Service was held for Noah and committal services will be private.
Any kind acts of charity can be made to the SPCA in Noah’s memory or to a scholarship account being established at Bay Federal Credit Union. (Acct# 32564892)
