Ricky Don Walker
October 8, 1966 to January 5, 2015
Boulder Creek resident Ricky Don Walker passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 5, 2015 at Stanford Hospital. His warm bear hugs and big smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rick enjoyed greeting and visiting with everyone he encountered. He was one of the “good guys.”
Rick was born in San Jose and moved to Ben Lomond in 1970. He graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 1984. He worked as a tow truck driver, firefighter, and commercial electrician. He obtained many certifications in his years as an electrician.
Rick married his life partner, Kelly Libbey, on Sept. 8, 2012. They were a perfect match and enjoyed life together camping, playing golf, and remodeling their home.
Rick is survived by his loving wife Kelly, father Don Walker, mother Leota Rodas, sister Lynn Walker Tremblay, stepsister Tina Walker, daughters Amanda and Jordan, son Max, and stepson Brannon.
Please join us for a celebration of Rick’s life on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Felton firehouse, 131 Kirby Street in Felton, starting at 1 p.m.
