Robert James Warren, 63, of Boulder Creek died peacefully in his sleep on March 13.
Mr. Warren was the son of John Luther Warren and Alice Davidell Stokely Warren and the beloved husband of Barbara Claire Britton Warren of Boulder Creek.
Mr. Warren served his country in the Vietnam War. He worked as postal carrier for 27 years and as a vocational counselor and children’s counselor.
He loved to sail and served on the crew of a historic tall ship for two-and-a-half years. He participated in historic reenactments, including train robberies at Roaring Camp Railroad and had a passion for both nautical and ancient Egyptian history.
His wife Claire, his son Wade, stepson Ryan Weis and honorary son Christian Whitney survive him. He is also survived by his brothers William Warren and John Warren Jr., sister Marilyn Hatala and is predeceased by his parents and sister Kathleen Gschweng.
