Scott Lloyd Kieser, 47, passed away on March 3, 2015, of a heart attack.
Scott was a 40-year resident of Boulder Creek attending Boulder Creek Elementary, San Lorenzo Valley Junior High, and graduated from SLV High School. He participated in football and wrestling and loved fishing of any kind, but especially ocean fishing, dirt bikes, gardening all of the fresh vegetables for homemade salads, cooking, and hanging out with his friends. He enjoyed working as a union plumber (UA393), most recently with F. M. Booth as a foreman.
Growing up in the San Lorenzo Valley, he avidly participated in Boy Scouts, youth baseball, soccer, rugby and wrestling. Scott was the first San Lorenzo Valley high school wrestler, ever, to represent California at the Junior National Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Iowa.
He is survived by his mother Marilyn Kieser, father Earl Kieser, best friend and love of his life Crystal Rodrigues, his sister Francis Sultzbaugh, and as “Uncle Scott” to Pat and Tom Higgins.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, March 302015, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Santa Cruz Masonic Temple, 828 N. Branciforte Ave. in Santa Cruz. The family would ask that any donations be made to the Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Project at MBSTP.ORG In Scott’s name.
