A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 6, in Morgan Hill to honor longtime Boulder Creek resident Pamela Kay Burrows Zin, who died April 25 in Los Gatos. She was 66.
Mrs. Zin was born in Traverse City, Mich., to Wayne G. Burrows Sr. and Dorothy Burrows. As a nurse, she had served in many aspects of the profession and spent more than 20 years with El Camino Hospital in Sunnyvale.
She lived in Boulder Creek from 1981 to 2003 before moving to Chico and Paradise.
After she was diagnosed with breast cancer 21 years ago, Mrs. Zin became a committed advocate in the fight against the disease.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and excelled at pottery and needlepoint. She loved animals and joined many charitable organizations and clubs.
Mrs. Zin is survived by spouse Kenneth Zin; son William Norman V of Morgan Hill; daughter Heather Pastorini of Discovery Bay; stepdaughter Laura Fourhman of England; mother Dorothy Burrows of Stockton; brother Wayne Burrows of Woodbridge; and two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by father Wayne G. Burrows Sr.
Friday’s Mass will begin at 3 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 17400 Peak Ave., in Morgan Hill.
