Several weeks ago, a group of concerned citizens met at the Felton Historic Covered Bridge Park with renowned horticultural consultant Barrie Coate, who was hired in 1992 by Santa Cruz County to provide a report on the then-existing trees in the newly purchased park site in Felton.
