Scotts Valley Falcon football is only a few years removed from an incredible run, when the school won Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (SCCAL) championships every year between 2006 and 2010.

Let’s go fishin’: Steelhead, perch fishing top charts

It is not often people associate perch and steelhead, but anglers are talking about both species for several reasons. Steelhead and perch fishing have been good, and the Sand Crab Classic Surf Perch Tournament is scheduled and open for enrollment. The perch tournament raises money for the steelhead hatchery.

It has become apparent that our present Constitution has been so distorted by numerous propositions, initiatives and amendments added over the years that the California government is not only broken, but has become destructive to our future.
