• Felicity Portia Rosemary Boddy Strong was born at 12:52 p.m. Nov. 30, 2009, to Michele Avril (Boddy) and Paul David Strong of Scotts Valley. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center in Santa Cruz.

In certainly the muddiest game of the season, the San Lorenzo Valley High football team defeated valley rival Scotts Valley High, 23-7, last Saturday, Oct. 30. The win gave the undefeated Cougars sole possession of first place in the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League with two games remaining, against Santa Cruz High and Harbor High, the SCCAL bottom feeders.

It’s summer – and that can mean fod poisoning

I suspect that the majority of houses in Santa Cruz County front a public road. For those homeowners, their headache consists of begging Public Works to fix the potholes that appear.
