Planting for erosion control

Who knows what the weather will be like this winter but we do know that some of our rain events will come with a vengeance. I recently tuned in to a local radio station talk show where the host and a “non-medical doctor” were criticizing vaccinations by citing false information and providing their personal bias. I would like to offer my view of vaccinations.

Kevin Foster, mountain cowboy

On another man, the Texas persona might seem a bit much — the aw-shucks, ma’am, almost-apologetic twang, huge Cattleman hat perched over perpetually squinty eyes, deep resonant voice— but on Boulder Creek resident Kevin Foster, the image looks as natural as the Lone Star flag fluttering under a late-afternoon sun.
