Despite a 7-0 setback to Aptos High School, the 2-1 Scotts Valley High School tennis team has shown it can compete, even after the loss of a strong core of seniors to graduation last season.

Scotts Valley Fire Department and CAL Fire, thank you for once again doing an outstanding job saving the properties in our Bethany University neighborhood. The recent fire (on Tuesday Sept. 24) was contained within minutes! I am continually impressed at your professionalism and capabilities. It makes me feel proud and safe to live in this City.
