Free tax program helps taxpayers
The California State Board of Equalization is offering a free all-day tax preparation class. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA is also known as the Free Income Tax Preparation and Family Resource Fair events) is hosted by the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization, local colleges and elected officials throughout tax season.

“Five gallons of soup”, my Hubby Norm yelled, “five gallons of soup?…Colly this time you’ve gone too far!” he kept repeating as I lugged in twenty pounds of Cremini mushrooms packed in five pound cartons.
