Spotlight: Artists open studios this weekend

North county artists, including those in the San Lorenzo Valley, Bonny Doon and Scotts Valley, will open their studios to curious art seekers this weekend, Oct. 3 and 4, as part of the annual Open Studious Art Tour put on by the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz.

Boulder Creek resident and Cabrillo College student Colter White was sent to San Quentin State Prison after a man in his Narcotics Anonymous group claimed Colter assaulted him in the Live Oak area last week.
