When I learned the Scotts Valley Sports Center will close in August and become Scotts Valley’s library, the first thing that came to my mind was a disco ball.

The San Lorenzo Valley Little League wrapped up its regular season with a Major division championship playoff game and closing-day ceremonies. Then the Minors Padres and Majors Dodgers won their first District 39 Tournament of Champions games on Tuesday, June 16, in the double-elimination tournament.
