A memorial service will be Saturday, April 28, for longtime Felton resident Renee Blendina (Romele) Kellogg, who died Sunday, April 15. She was 45.
Mrs. Kellogg was born in Santa Cruz and raised in Felton. She married Rick Kellogg on Oct. 18, 1987, and the couple purchased a home in Felton shortly after moving back from Riverside in 1992.
Mrs. Kellogg was team mother for the San Lorenzo Valley High School wrestling and water polo teams for several years.
She is survived by her spouse, Rick Kellogg of Felton; children, Alexander Kellogg of the U.S. Coast Guard in San Pedro, and Logan Kellogg and Cameron Renee Kellogg, both of Felton; siblings, Gary Romele and Darrell Romele, both of Oregon, and Tim Romele and Julian Romele, both of Felton; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Bennie Romele; and a sister, Catherine Romele.
Saturday’s memorial will begin at 10 a.m. at Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., in Santa Cruz.
