Stacey Joseph Kock and Lizzy (Elizabeth) Racquel Sampson

Stacey Joseph Kock and Lizzy (Elizabeth) Racquel Sampson announced their wedding engagement just before Christmas. The couple will marry on May 24at an outdoor venue overlooking the ocean.
Sampson grew up in Felton and after graduating from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 2008, she interned at Grace Children’s Orphanage in Rosarito, Mexico for six months before continuing on to college to study Spanish.
Kock was raised in Pleasanton and graduated from Amador High in Pleasanton in 2005 and studied at Las Positas College.
The couple met at Verve Coffee Roasters of Santa Cruz. They both currently reside in Santa Cruz and work in the coffee industry, as managers and baristas. The two have competed in regional and national barista competitions over the past few years.
Returning to the location of and recreating their first date, Kock proposed to Sampson at the Cliff Cafe, in Capitola.
Stacey’s parents, John Kock and Diane Domeyer Kock, and Lizzy’s parents, Paul and Laura Sampson, along with the couple’s siblings, other family members and friends, celebrated with the couple over the holidays and are excited about the upcoming wedding.
