Santa Cruz PONY Baseball serves youth baseball players residing in Santa Cruz, San LorenzoValley, and ScottsValley. We will host walk-in registration for the upcoming 2016 spring baseball season Monday, January 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harvey West Park Clubhouse (located between the pool and Little League field). Coaches and league organizers will be on hand to answer questions from new and returning families.
The following Sunday, January 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Branciforte Middle School, the league is offering a free skills clinic for incoming new and returning players. The clinic is recommended for players who would like a warm-up or skills review before tryouts at the end of January. During the clinic players will learn to lead off, steal bases, learn about base stealing timing, learn to avoid getting picked off, and other skills pertinent to Pony level baseball play.
