The Superior Court of Santa Cruz County is inviting applications for the 2025-26 Civil Grand Jury, an independent 19-member panel that investigates local government operations and addresses citizen concerns.

Informational meetings and open houses will take place at various library locations throughout April:

  • Wednesday, April 16, at Felton Library from 10:30am-2pm (Informational Meeting: 12:30-1:30pm)
  • Wednesday, April 16, at Scotts Valley Library from 3:30-6pm (Informational Meeting: 5-6pm)
  • Wednesday, April 23, at Watsonville Library from 11am-3pm (Informational Meeting: 12:30-1:30pm)

Qualified U.S. citizens aged 18 and older who have resided in Santa Cruz County for at least one year are encouraged to apply. The Court aims to assemble a diverse group of volunteers from all county communities.

Interested individuals can find more information and apply at santacruzcourt.org. Applications are due by April 30.
