Santa County Bank’s Scotts Valley branch is currently hosting the art exhibition “Quintessential Santa Cruz County.” The ongoing event displays 19 local professional artists and members of The Santa Cruz Oil Painters to celebrate the landscape and lifestyle of Santa Cruz County.
From north to south, their paintings explore the county’s extraordinary landscape, as well as fond memories of daily life.
Viewers will appreciate depictions of long-established businesses such as Martinelli’s, Marianne’s Ice Cream, Aldo’s, the Boardwalk, Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, Fox Theater, and Del Mar.
Curated by Mary Anne Carson, director of the Santa Cruz County Bank Arts Collaborative, “Quintessential Santa Cruz County” includes 90 original paintings displayed throughout the Bank’s five banking offices. The Bank’s Scotts Valley office has artwork on display and the artwork is for sale with 100 percent of sales going directly to the artists.
