A gas station in Scotts Valley was robbed by two men who brandished handguns and demanded cash early Monday evening.
The on-duty attendant at Scotts Valley Gas, on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road, saw two men enter the store at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27. The men both drew handguns of unknown caliber and demanded money from the attendant. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash and other items from the store, they fled on foot in a westerly direction toward the Whispering Pines Laundromat on Whispering Pines Drive.
Scotts Valley Police is investigating the robbery.
Police say that both suspects are Hispanic males, 19 to 21 years in age and between 5-feet, 9-inches and 6′ tall. Both were wearing black colored hoodies with dark bandanas around their faces, black leather gloves and black pants.
As of Tuesday morning, police have not apprehended any suspects. They ask that anyone with information call the police department at 440-5670.
