Scotts Valley scooter controversy hits Wall Street Journal

A report by the Wall Street Journal outlining the growing tension between scooter riders and skateboarders in skate parks in America featured Scotts Valley’s skate park. The article “Who’s Swell on Wheels? In Turf Tussle, Die-Hard Skateboarders Diss Scooters,” was found on the front page of the Saturday/Sunday Aug. 18-19 edition of the WSJ. 
Several Scotts Valley riders and skaters are interviewed and photos were taken at the park. A 4 minute, 35 second video report was made at the Scotts Valley park and several local skaters, a city employee and a local business owner were interviewed.
