A 17-year-old Scotts Valley girl was arrested after 30 tablets of ecstasy and 1.73 grams of ketamine, a hallucinogen, were found in her purse last weekend.
The girl, whose name was not released because she is younger than 18, admitted to Scotts Valley police that she had planned to give the drugs away at a “rave” party in another county.
The girl was arrested after an officer stopped the vehicle she was riding in for making unsafe lane changes at 8:11 p.m. Nov. 14 on the 5000 block of Granite Creek Road.
The officer smelled marijuana in the vehicle and found the drugs during an ensuing search.
The girl was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of intent to distribute a controlled substance.
The driver of the vehicle had a small amount of marijuana but had a valid medical marijuana license and was released.
