EDITOR,
Dear Dr. Terry Hollenbeck, I wanted to take the time to thank you for your wonderful column in the Press-Banner and to thank you for the positive presence that you have shared with the community for all of the years that you have served as one of the best physician’s in the area. Whenever my family has been in need of your services at the Palo Alto Medical Clinic in Scotts Valley, I always knew that we were in good hands. With your positive and calming presence we would leave the clinic with the correct information to get us back on track. You are after all the physician that has put every stitch onto my daughters various wounds. Not an easy task, with a papoosed, screaming baby. In recent years, you started writing the Health Column in the Press-Banner and your knowledge, open-mindedness, and common sense have always come through in your articles. I always look forward to reading what you have to say about current medical issues. In fact, your recent series of articles regarding cancer have resonated with me and my family. The articles are informative and packed full of excellent and helpful information. Finally, I want to thank you for writing about your personal experience regarding your fight with multiple myeloma. My family and I are with you, we care about you and your family, and we are sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.
