A Great Dane champion show dog was reported stolen from a man’s home on the 2400 block of El Rancho Drive in Scotts Valley on Tuesday, May 8.
The man said that nothing else was taken during the burglary and that the dog, named “Knight” was not wearing a collar.
The man told sheriff’s deputies that whoever stole the dog might have known the dogs’ value, which he estimated at $27,000.
Knight is an 18-month old male Great Dane, that weights 175 pounds and is 36.5 inches in height. Knight is micro-chipped and was shipped from Australia. He is American Kennel Club registered.
