About 4,500 people descended upon Roaring Camp Railroads the weekend of June 1 and 2 for the annual Redwood Mountain Faire in Felton.
Now in its fourth year, the fair is hosted by the Valley Women’s Club as a showcase of San Lorenzo Valley culture, featuring local artists, musicians, craftspeople, brewers, vintners, and restaurateurs.
“We just had such incredible support from the community,” said Nancy Macy, one of the event’s organizers. “Everybody had a great time.”
Macy said that the organization was still counting out the proceeds from the events on-site and advance ticket purchases, as well as those from concessions and silent auction proceeds.
Proceeds from the event go to support local nonprofit and service organizations who volunteered at the faire. This year’s faire featured 22 bands over two days.
