San Lorenzo Valley High students stopped by tables manned by representativesfrom more than a dozen employers at the Career Expo Monday.

More than 200 students from San Lorenzo Valley High School got a peek into potential careers during the annual Career Expo on Monday.
The school hosted Granite Rock, Plantronics, Sleep Therapy, Cabrillo College, Santa Cruz County Human Resources & Probation Office, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Starbucks, Indigital Studios, San Lorenzo Valley Water District, The Cosmo Factory, Seaside Company, Whiting’s Foods, Bay Federal Credit Union, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and Action Sports at the campus. The organization Your Future is Our Business, an education committee of the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce, and Santa Cruz County Career Technical Education Partnership partnered to make the event possible for 220 SLV students.
The students not only got to see what jobs were available right now, they got to ask questions about working in a professional environment and finding the right career.
