SV pitcher tosses no-no
Scotts Valley High School sophomore Seryna Tapuloa tossed her second no-hitter of the season on Tuesday, April 17 in a 4-0 win over Harbor High School.
In the win, Tapuloa struck out nine while allowing two base-runners, one reached on an error and one on a walk. Sigrid Holtrop led the Falcon charge going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.
SLV tennis falls to Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Cardinals [5-0] swept all three doubles matches as the boys tennis team defeated San Lorenzo Valley 5-2 on Tuesday, April 17.
Cougar Marty Varner was a bright spot at No. 1 singles, defeating Santa Cruz’s Walker Nodine, 7-6, 3-6, 10-7 in a hard-fought match.
