Fall ball starting up
The 2010 San Lorenzo Valley Little League fall ball season is getting under way. Last year, 85 players participated. Organizers say fall ball is a great way for players ages 6 to 12 who have at least a year of playing experience to improve their game and have fun before Little League returns in the spring.
Registration and tryouts will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, and Aug. 14 at the San Lorenzo Valley High School pony league field, 7105 Highway 9, in Felton.
League organizers also need coaches and managers.
