San Lorenzo Valley High will look to right the ship in its third preseason game after falling to Piedmont High School in a tight contest Saturday, Sept. 10.

Girls water polo teams look to make splash in reshaped league

Just like volleyball, the local high school water polo league has shuffled drastically in the transition from the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League to the Tri-County Athletic League. In the biggest local twist, the Scotts Valley Falcon girls have been assigned to a different-tiered league than the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars.

It was a game of huge plays for both teams as the Scotts Valley Falcons overran the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars, 35-32, on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Scotts Valley High.
