Spotlight: Scotts Valley’s own Project Runway

Two years ago, a fashion club was started at Scotts Valley High School. On Feb. 6, the club will host its student-run fashion show.
The designers and models are students, and the show will feature designs that draw from recycled fashion and old Hollywood style.
There will be two shows, the first from 2 to 4 p.m. and the second from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Scotts Valley High School Student Union building, 555 Glenwood Drive.
Tickets are $5, and proceeds from admission and the accompanying snacks, bake sale and silent auction will go toward the Invisible Children Fund, www.invisiblechildren.com.
