The Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works announced two road projects that are beginning Monday and could create traffic delays for local drivers.
Crews will work to repair damage to Lompico Road between Creekwood Drive and Lake Boulevard from the winter storms earlier this year.
Divers should expect slow traffic, temporary lane closures and potential delays of up to 20 minutes as crews work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Nov. 30.
Work crews will also start repairing storm damage to Jarvis Road north of Vine Hill Road on Monday. The Public Works department says driver should also expect up to 20 minute delays trying to get through Jarvis between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Nov. 10.
More information about the work and closures is available at the county website, www.sccroadclosure.org.
