You know that summer is almost here when the convoy of food trucks comes back to Skypark. Starting Friday, April 26, Food Trucks a Go Go presents Food Truck Fridays, the area’s largest food truck festival with new owners Josh and Teresa Swart.

Head to Skypark in Scotts Valley every Friday from 5-8pm for an evening of tasty eats, live music and a chance to support the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation.

From April to October, Food Truck Fridays will feature a variety of local vendors, including Cracked Cookies, Epoch Eats, Kuki’s Bowls, Mattia Pizza, Pesce Veggie, Santa Cruz Eatery, Taquizas Gabriel and a perennial favorite for the kids, Aunt Lali’s.

And from fairy faces to scary faces, Brenda Leach of Brenda’s Face Painting will be there to transform everyday children into anything from fairies to superheroes, butterflies to iguanas.

There will also be a Beer and Wine Garden (hosted by the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation). All the profits from the garden will go directly to SVEF.

Starting in May, Taco Tuesdays is the name of the game at Skypark from 5-8pm. Same ambiance, but with a little more heat. Taco Tuesdays runs from May through October, beginning on May 14.

Admission and parking are free, and friendly, leashed pups are welcome. There are some picnic tables on site, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to make the most of the space available.
