A 38-year-old Scotts Valley man was arrested Dec. 26 when police found more than 500 marijuana plants and four pounds of processed marijuana in his home during a search.
George Linwood Adams, 38, was detained by Scotts Valley police on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, sale of a narcotic controlled substance, marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale and driving on a suspended license.
Officers entered Adams’ home on the first block of Sucinto Drive to search it at 4 p.m. Dec. 26. During the search, Adams drove up to the home and was arrested.
Oxycontin, methadone and prescription drugs were also found inside, according to police.
According Santa Cruz County Jail records, Adams posted $10,000 bail on Saturday, Dec. 29.
