Scotts Valley Aquatics, swimming out of Club One, completed its first swim meet of the season at Silver Creek Sportsplex in San Jose last week.
The team defeated both the Silver Creek and Los Gatos teams.
The team started practicing two months ago and call themselves the Scotts Valley Tsunami.
Undefeated and honorable mention swimmers from the meet included Lauren Wood, 11; Jack Palmer, 10; Kim Ladd, 10; Ian Bast, 10; Linnea Byrd, 8; Wheeler Handley, 7; Hannah Zolezzi, 6; and Michael Arcangeli, 6. Pam Leonard is coaching the team.
