At last week’s Scotts Valley City Council meeting the council agreed to participate in an ad hoc “Interagency Advisory Subcommittee” tasked with “developing a collective message” between various local agencies on issues surrounding growth and development in Scotts Valley.

Private well owners made their interests clear at a “stakeholders” meeting for the Santa Margarita Groundwater Agency.  In a standing-room only meeting on May 31, nearly all of the 60 people at the meeting raised their hands when asked if they were representing private well owners.  

For Scotts Valley Police Officer John Hohmann the chance to race police cars on a speedway to raise money for Special Olympics was an idea long in the making.
