I know we all sometimes want to take the easy way out on some situations in life, but I’m going to tell you why you should think about the ending results and make the right choice.
In life, not just middle school, you are going to face problems that you might be afraid to handle and take care of. It can be scary, and many people crack under pressure and panic. They think if they give into pressure, they won’t have to worry about getting taunted and tormented. But then, later on, you will probably regret that you took the easy way out.
If I got stuck in a sticky situation, I was taught to always follow my gut. Your brain might be telling you one thing, but as long as you follow your instinct, you’re on the right track.
Hopefully, you will be able to look back and have no regrets with your decisions and know you did the right thing. To make the right choice, you need to have lots of confidence so you feel secure with yourself.
Right now, I know we are going into our teen years and are still trying to figure out who we are and who we want to be. We are so vulnerable right now, and sometimes we won’t know how to make the right choice.
That’s when we need to look at the situation we’re in and try our hardest to get through it. If you have a problem that’s too hard for you, it’s helpful to ask a parent or relative that you trust. If you are too nervous to tell a family member, tell another adult or friend that will support you and get you through the problem. That’s a lot to put on us teenagers.
We will not always make the correct choice and might mess up sometimes, but if you are working hard on your problem and not taking the easy way out of a situation, you are trying your best!
So, take little steps and do what you think is best for yourself, your friends and your family, because in the end, you will be right and satisfied with your decision.
