A project to repair the edge of the northbound lane of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond will necessitate installation of a temporary traffic signal that will provide one-way traffic control.

The project area will be located on Highway 9 between Prospect and Lorenzo avenues in Boulder Creek.

Travelers can expect delays of 10 minutes and are asked to allow for additional time during their commute.

Construction crews will excavate the area below the northbound lane and construct a stone and wire gabion wall, which will add support below the roadway that was previously damaged during winter storms.

This project is estimated to be completed by the end of September. The contractor for this project is Granite Construction.
