Valley to host candidate forum

Candidates for the Cabrillo College Governing Board and the Santa Cruz County Board of Education will meet in a candidate forum in the San Lorenzo Valley.
The candidates for the Cabrillo College board’s Area 1, Donna Ziel and Robert Tosto, will present their platforms, as will education board candidates Aaron Hinde and George Martinez.
Hinde is the only incumbent in the race, having served two years on the County Board of Education.
A discussion of propositions on the November ballot will follow.
The forum will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the San Lorenzo Valley High School Performing Arts Center, 7105 Highway 9, in Felton.
