Caltrans crews will conduct a vegetation control project north of Scotts Valley next week, which will result in the daytime closure of one lane of northbound Highway 17.

Travelers will encounter a closure of the #2 (right lane) of northbound Highway 17 from Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13, from 9:30am-2pm, between Granite Creek Road in Scotts Valley and upper Glenwood Drive.

Travelers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes.

“Caltrans maintenance forces will clear culverts and disrupt fuels continuity by removing dead/dying brush, trees and ladder fuels,” according to a press release from the agency.
