Drivers on 14 privately owned and maintained streets in Scotts Valley can now get parking tickets.
The Scotts Valley City Council on Wednesday, June 3, approved a change to the list of private streets where drivers are subject to vehicle code regulations.
City staff determined the streets are open to, and regularly used by, the public, making enforcement in the public interest. It already was possible to get traffic tickets on the streets.
The following streets are affected by the change:
Acorn Court, Casa Way, Flora Lane, K Street, Kelly Way, Kent Court, Milano Court, Sunset Terrace, Terrace View Court, Tuscany Way, Venice Way, Wells Road, Windward Place and Woodhill Drive.
