The Lompico Water District posted a notice to their website this week that it is postponing a scheduled vote to merge with San Lorenzo Valley Water District.
The notice stated, “Due to the fact that not all assessed properties received a ballot, there will be a 45-day extension to vote on the merger between Lompico Water District and the San Lorenzo Valley Water District. The final hearing is continued to May 4, 2016 when ballots will be counted.”
The new deadline to submit ballots is May 4 at the District Office by 4:00 p.m. or Zayante Fire District between 7:00-8:00 p.m.
