Candice Rina Becking and Brandon Lee Marquis of Scotts Valley were married Aug. 8, 2010, at Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz. A reception at the Harbor Café followed the ceremony.
Becking, a 2001 Harbor High School and 2007 San Jose State graduate grew up in Scotts Valley and attended Brook Knoll Elementary and Scotts Valley Middle schools.
She is a high school physical-education teacher and coach.
Her sisters, Chenelle Becking and Cassie Becking, both live in Santa Cruz.
Marquis attended Golden Sierra High School in Garden Valley and graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2005 and San Jose State University in 2009. He is an instructional aide for children on the autistic spectrum and a middle school coach in Santa Clara.
He has two siblings, Kellen Bean and Kendra Bean, both of Maui.
